Why we need your help

There are a lot of grants and scholarships (federal, state, institutional, and private) available for the low-income students desiring to continue their education. There are also numerous grants and scholarships available for the best of the best (academic and athletic). Our goal is to provide scholarships to those in the middle – the donut hole – if you will. A lot of students have very good grades and wish to attend a trade school, tech school, college, or university. But they aren’t athletes and don’t have 4.5 or higher GPA’s, and their family income is too high for to qualify for the low-income grants. They may just need just a little help to further their education. These are precisely the students we wish to help.

Through fund raising and donations, our goal is to offer a maximum of ten one-time scholarships in an amount up to $3000.00 each year to qualified seniors at Hunter Huss High School. Initially, we may only be able to offer one or two awards. But as donation funds increase, we can reach the goal of ten. Please help us by donating. On behalf of our scholarship recipients, we thank you!
