Our Mission and Values

The Hunter Huss Alumni Scholarship Foundation, a nonprofit Public Charity per IRS Sect 501(c)(3) founded in 2018, is based upon the conviction that an educated citizenry is essential to a healthy democracy. The Scholarship Foundation assists with access to post-secondary education to Seniors at Hunter Huss High School who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their educational goals.

The Foundation sees higher education as a catalyst, an agent of change for individuals, families, communities, and nations. We envision a community that recognizes the importance of educational attainment and assures positive educational outcomes are accessible to all regardless of economic circumstance. In our community, doors will not be closed to those who lack financial resources, and post-secondary education should be available to all with the potential to succeed.

To help build this community, The Hunter Huss Alumni Scholarship Foundation will:

  •    Provide financial support for post-secondary education to Seniors at Hunter Huss High School

To those who share its vision, the Foundation offers opportunities to participate in its realization through financial and in-kind support and volunteerism. The Foundation contributes to enlightened public policy through advocacy for its vision of post-secondary educational opportunity without financial barriers.
